Dr Alvan Cheng

I am originally from Hong Kong but moved to New Zealand in 1995.  I grew up in Auckland and completed my medical degree at the University of Auckland.  During my early career, I spent three years across Middlemore Hospital and Auckland City Hospital before deciding to pursue a career in general practice.  My interests within general practice include paediatrics, minor surgery and preventive care.  I can consult in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.  Outside of work, I enjoy badminton, piano and travelling.
