Repeat prescribing is for ensuring a supply of long-term medications between review appointments with your prescriber. It is not always appropriate to get a repeat prescription, for instance if you have not seen your doctor for 6 months or more, or if lab tests, physical examination or symptom check is required to ensure medicines are still suitable.
You can request repeat prescriptions online by completing the form below. Please complete all fields and list the medications you require in the "further details" box. We may need to contact you for clarification, or to recall you for review.
We have high volumes of repeat prescribing and require 3 working days to action requests.
Useful Tips
- check with your prescriber at you next appointment how often you need to be reviewed for particular medications
- set yourself a reminder to re-order medications 2 weeks before you run out
- check that you do not have repeat medications waiting at the Pharmacy before ordering a new script
