Breast cancer is the most common cancer in New Zealand women and the risk increases with age.
Free breast screening to for women aged 45 to 69 years is provided by the national breast screening programme, Breastscreen Aotearoa, every two years.
Waiuku Health Centre will ensure that all registered patients eligible for Breast Screening are invited to participate according to the National Breast Screening Programme.
