About Me
I completed my medical training at the University of Auckland, graduating in the class of 2016. I spent time gaining breadth of experience working at Middlemore and Starship hospitals before starting my specialist career in general practice. I have completed a postgraduate diploma in paediatrics.
Having spent my childhood in Rotorua, I was drawn to the field of medicine due to my natural affinity for science and interest in the human body and its physiology.
It is a privilege to work in general practice and every day I am grateful for the stories that my patients share with me. I believe that general practice provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people within my community.
I live locally with my wife and two young sons. My interests include running, winter sports, travelling, and beating my colleague Dr Alvan Cheng at squash.
